Getting Started

Get up and running with Notipo in a few minutes. You can use the hosted version at notipo.com or self-host it on your own server with Docker.

1. Create an Account

Hosted: Go to notipo.com/auth/register and sign up with your email and a password. You'll receive a verification email — click the link to verify your address and you'll be logged in automatically. New accounts get a 7-day free trial of the Pro plan — no credit card required.

Self-hosted: Follow the self-hosting guide to deploy with Docker, then open your instance at /admin and sign up or use your seeded API key.

2. Duplicate the Notion Template

Start with our pre-configured Notion database template. It has all the required properties set up:

3. Connect Notion

In the Notipo dashboard, go to Settings and click Connect to Notion. Authorize access and select your blog database. See Notion Setup for details.

4. Connect WordPress

Enter your WordPress site URL, admin username, and an application password. See WordPress Setup for step-by-step instructions.

5. Publish Your First Post

Write a post in your Notion database, then change its status to Post to Wordpress. Notipo will:

  • Convert your Notion content to WordPress blocks
  • Upload and cache all images
  • Generate a featured image (Pro plan)
  • Set SEO metadata via Rank Math
  • Create a WordPress draft

When you're ready, change the status to Publish to make it live. See Publishing for the full workflow.

6. Manage Your Account

Go to Account in the sidebar to view your profile, change your password, or delete your account. Account owners who delete their account will permanently remove the entire organization and all associated data.
